Tending The Self Through Loving Awareness
Residential Mindfulness & Healing Retreat
“Find a place in yourself, in your being, your heart - that really wants to understand what life and death is about, that wants to live in a different way. Let that be the source of your inspiration, the source of your guidance.” - Jack Kornfield
The relationship we have with ourselves is foremost the most important. You cannot love
selflessly until and unless you understand and love yourself unconditionally. Loving yourself
comes before loving others – that’s not selfish. How you see the world, your beliefs, attitudes,
behaviors, and how you relate to others is a reflection of you.
For most people, finding a place in our being and our hearts is easier said than done.
Some said it’s to become complete, in wholeness. But what does it mean to be
whole? It means being accepting of ourselves and being in harmony with our mind,
body, and spirit. We are all whole, to begin with. All we need is to bring conscious
and loving awareness to this and be willing to shed the layers that don’t belong –
self-judgement and societal conditioning. We need to awaken the part of us that lies
in this wholeness, deep in the wisdom of our bodies and hearts.
If you are inspired to find this place in yourself, in your being, and in your heart, this
is the perfect package for you to tend to yourself. We will be healing, growing, and
connecting, all while you experience nature, mountains, jungles, and spiritual
knowledge nested in a Nepalese lifestyle.
In this retreat, we will explore different forms of somatic bodywork and exercises,
yoga, qigong, meditations, mindfulness, and didactic talks to support you on this
beautiful journey.
The relationship you have with yourself is arguably one that you
cannot take a rain check. Be kind to yourself.
This retreat will let you have a better understanding of yourself, the connection
between your body, heart-mind, and the projection of these into the world. We will
explore the wisdom of our body, transforming our relationship with ourselves, and
how to tend the self through loving awareness.
At Heart-Mind Wellness Retreats, we care for your well-being. We are determined to
support you on your transformative journey that centers on nurturing your inner
harmony.
We understand that true well-being isn’t just about physical health; it
encompasses the balance of both the heart and mind. When we are in a loving
presence, it creates harmony and joy in us and around us, as a way of life.
Nepal is known for its diverse exotic beauty; is home to the tallest mountains and the
deepest gorge, a cultural center of the Himalayas, and the birthplace of the Buddha;
be rest assured that you’ll be held in friendliness by the villagers, the unhurried pace
of the city, meditative calmness of nature and a supportive team of teachers who will
hold space for you in every step of the way.
