status of Lord shiva at shivalaya pokhara nepal

The untold story behind Shivalaya reveals that initially, Mr. Vishnu established the statue of Lord Buddha, inspired by the fact that Lumbini was historically recognized as the birthplace of Lord Buddha.

But one time he is in deep meditation and something amazing happens. During his intense meditation a vision of Lord Shiva appeared in front of him with loud chanting of mantra “Om Namah Shivaya.” The vision was so powerful it changed the vision of Mr. Vishnu with a new purpose.

After waking up he decided to follow his calling and laid the statue Lord Shiva that we now recognise as Shivalaya Yoga Ashram.
